You know, I was going to ask whether anyone else has seen these things running around, but that's pretty much a completely moot point by now if the panic all over is anything to judge by.

So at risk of asking a dumb question, I'm going to wonder why these things are so damn violent – apparently everyone's getting mauled all over, when even failed captures don't get up and decide to bite you. Is there a reason these things are so freaked out, or...

Is this thing okay? It doesn't even have a face, and that's probably why the damn thing hasn't bitten me yet.

[Judging by the tone of Hagakure's voice, he's probably one of the few people who hasn't run into very many of these abominations so far. He's completely at a loss as to what the hell he's even looking at here, but he'll at least make an attempt at making some sense out of it.]

I...is this some kinda breeding disaster? I didn't even know you could screw breeding up but that's...gotta be it, right?

I'm not sure what it says about this place when that seems like one of the least insane solutions.

Haha yeeeeah, always fun to stop and consider how crazy this place is after you've settled yourself into it... But seriously, that's the only thing I can think of! How else are you gonna get nightmare fuel like that?

But ya know...this isn't the first time I've heard about some kinda weird PokeFusion goin' on. Maybe some breeders collectively screwed up really bad.

Most people here've been saying that they have no idea what they're looking at - they've never seen anything like this. What incident are you talking about?

[Hagakure's pretty sure he's never seen anything like this either...but he at least kinda recognizes what it's made up of.]

Well, I talked to one kid about the weird Pokemon that attacked him. He said it was like a Furret, but not. It was pink with wings. I didn't actually see what it looked like though, but judging from what the kid said it wasn't an entirely new Pokemon.

But this thing...it's totally a Tauros and Starmie mix! It makes me wonder if that Furret was mixed with something too, if it's not some kinda new evolution.

You'd think if it was some sort of new evolution, it'd be a little less... [...uh...] ...that.

I've got no idea what could have caused that, though; even the weird stuff radiation supposedly does in this world doesn't cause mutations like that, at least not to my knowledge.

Yeeeah, exactly. Are there even any evolutions that are basically Pokemon fusing together?

[Apparently he's blocked Magneton, Slowbro and others out of his mind for the time being.]

But I think you're right about the radiation thing. I can't remember a time where something like this happened, unless it happened once while I was gone or before I got here the first time...

A little bit of both, maybe? As weird as things get sometimes, I like it here. It's a nice break from home, if you know what I mean.

But yeah, it's my second time. I was gone like five months Johto-time, I guess? I was here for almost two years before that I'm pretty sure.

Not that that's something to complain about if it's better than wherever you came from; seems that's a common thing around here.
