...So I've heard this is a video game or something.

[Well, hello again – it's audio-only from Ginti again, though it sounds like he's managed to find his way to Cherrygrove without anything too stupid happening; he still sounds approximately a thousand percent done with everything and everyone, but that...might just be his normal tone, really.

Either way, thanks for the explanation, Lancer, he appreciates it. Sorta. As much as he can appreciate an explanation that stupid.]

Not like I'm trying to be weird about it, but is this the sort of game where we get a whole bunch of save points, or do we Game Over as soon as we walk off a cliff or what?

[Anyway.

After Ginti's...that is out there, he can be found kind of wandering Cherrygrove for the better part of the day; he's been here for a while, and it's actually not too bad? Now that it's decided to quit raining, anyway.

He hasn't really seemed to mind the rain, though, even when it was going full force; he's been spending a lot of time on the beach, doing...god only knows what outside of staring at it a lot. He can be found there today as well, though he seems to be entertaining himself well enough up on the rocks as opposed to just being listless; his balance seems good enough that he won't be testing the results of the question he was asking earlier anytime soon, but it's something to do with himself that doesn't involve other people, so naturally he's probably sort of asking to be bothered.

He's not all that great at conversation, but he wouldn't be too opposed to it, either. Probably. Maybe. Kinda. He's sort of a social crapshoot like that.]

Oh, this isn't all of us says Ruskin. [Snake steps away a little bit and then turns the camera back to where he had been sitting by a circus tent.]

I'm Zola and this is Gaskell, Letitia, Quincey, and Thomas, says Zola, [says Snake as he points to a dragonair, another seviper, a feebas, an onix, and a servine. The servine turns to the dragonair with a huff.] Hey! You should have said my name first since I'm going to be the best here! says Thomas.

Sorry! I wasn't really thinking, says Zola.

...Okay, so the human is Snake, he's got a lot of snake-like things and he translates for every single one of you. That's what I'm getting out of this. Is that...it, or...

[Snake shakes his head no,] I could always understand snakes, and it's the same for snake pokèmon, says Ruskin.

[Snake has to consider for a moment before admitting,] I have been told I'm half snake, says Ruskin.

[He figures that his scales make him stand out enough that it's not worth hiding.]

[Well, it's definitely better than being called a freak. How were the people here so understanding? It still baffled him, but he was starting to get used to it.]

It does mean I make a very good snake charmer for the circus. [Now he's expecting to be called a circus freak. But if he isn't then this guy might be worth trying to make friends with.]

[It's not exactly that Ginti's seen some shit, because he's kind of in a nebulous spot with regards to that - he's seen relatively little, but he knows what other people have seen. At the same time, he's also traveling with someone claiming to be a literal dragon and he's always prided himself on not being human himself. So it's less "understanding" and more "...no room to talk, really", but the effect is more or less the same.]

Yeah, I'd guess so - animals are smart as hell, half the time they're better than people. But it gives you an advantage if you know what they're saying, right?
