Two questions.

[Well, it looks like someone's back on the network now that all the general insanity is...mostly over; audio-only again, because apparently that's just how he's going to do things.]

One: is there some way to get levels on your Pokémon without making them fight? I've got one who's decided he's a lover, not a fighter, which is cute and all but he needs the levels and I'm not going to see if the stupid trees will let me wish levels onto him.

[He pauses for a moment once that's out there, though.]

The other thing is that I misplaced a couple people. Somehow. They were here this weekend; I can't find them as of yesterday.

One's fine on her own. The other's someone who shouldn't be wandering around by herself.

I think you can give 'em candies to make them level up, but they're pretty rare.

They don't seem to sell them in shops, not that I've seen anyway.

Something like that. If you had enough, I bet you could make a Pokemon evolve without ever needing to train them.

I've been here for over a year. After you're here long enough, you end up going with the flow.

Seems there are a lot of you that've been here for a while. Almost everyone I talk to has been, anyway, either that or they just showed up.

I was completely lost when I first showed up. Seems like it's a common problem to have. I can't blame anyone for being incredibly confused about this place.

At least it means people are capable of helping each other out. Not a bad trade-off.

I can't really blame anyone for being lost, yeah - this is completely different from what I'm used to, anyway.

If I've got questions, I ask. It's done pretty well so far, I've found some useful people. So I'm not gonna complain about it.

I don't see the point in not asking, peresonally.

Well, yeah. You're either going to look stupid for two seconds because you had to ask, or you're going to have a problem later because you should know something basic but you don't.

Fortunately, even the people who have been here for years know this world is strange as hell. It never gets any less strange, either. It just gets easier to think "oh, something strange is happening again" like it's not a very big deal.

...Basically, yeah.

This place likes to get to you. Can't really tell you why, just that weird things happen all the time.

...Wait, do you mean like it'll throw specific stuff at you in particular sometimes, or it's just a pain in the neck in ways that're going to get old really fast?

Oh, no, not me in particular; it's the latter. After a certain point, weird things happen and you either go "not this shit again" or you think maybe something interesting will happen this time.

...Well, being jaded is better than being individually screwed with, I guess.

...at least it's a decent kind of jaded and not being jaded over constant bloodshed.

I'll take not being fazed by brightly colored animals anymore.
