So I've got a bunch of eggs for you guys.
[Well, it sounds like Ginti is about as pleased as usual to be addressing everyone, by which I mean he seems bored out of his mind; there isn't any video, as usual, but you can hear it, though at the very least he's talking about something generally accepted as a good thing today.]
I'm not going to ask you to pay me for them, because I'm not into the idea of selling babies. Because no. But I'm not giving them to just anyone, either – we're going to do this right or not at all, and that means I've got paperwork for you to fill out. If you can't answer a few short questions, I'm going to assume you don't really want one.
If you're the sort of person to ask me why the hell I'm bothering with any of this for a bunch of fish, then you also obviously don't really want one, so don't waste my time.
[...Literally all that some of these damn things want is for you to pet them and call them pretty. You'd better pet them and call them pretty.]
I don't do any get-out-of-bureaucracy-free things for newcomers, either. Just answer the stupid questions. It's not hard.
[And attached to the message is a list of Pokémon and their egg moves, as well as...well, it does appear to be a questionnaire. Go ahead and fill it out if you'd like one; he's not going to just hand you one without it, so.]
[...His sales pitch could use some work. Hopefully the egg moves make up for it a bit.]
[OOC: There are still a bunch of eggs left!]

[text]
Also thank god she discovered the text function on her pokegear recently.]
Name: rakka
Where are you from? Homeland and world of origin if you know it: the town of glie.
What Pokémon did this world decide to throw at you at the start?: doduo
What did you decide to name it? kuki and feza
Was there a reason for that or did you just do it on a whim? a reason. I wanted to give them names that had meanings.
How long have you been here? I'm not deciding based on tenure so just answer the question: almost a week I think
Which one of the listed Pokémon are you interested in? litwick
Do you plan on naming it and if so, what: yes. but I still have to think about what to name it when it hatches.
Is there a reason you picked the one you want and if so, what: someone I know has one and I thought it was interesting. so I'm thinking of getting one
no subject
Did you end up with one Pokémon or two? Given that you gave it a couple of names there.
no subject
just one. uh it has two heads.
no subject
I actually don't know what I expected but sure.
It's important that their names mean something to you though?
no subject
yes, there is! [Yay, she's found the exclamation point.] a lot of people I know have names that are connected to something they saw in a dream. and I guess i wanted to keep using that.
no subject
[That's...new.]
Is your name like that too?
no subject
My name actually has two meanings now, but the first one is supposed to mean "falling" because in my dream I was falling in the air.
no subject
[...Seriously, this is. Sort of morbidly interesting? He doesn't know.]
no subject
[Which is... the best answer possible?]
we have a special dream when we're born, and then whatever happened in the dream is what we're named after.
no subject
Not that it's a bad thing because it keeps my life interesting but still.
That sounds interesting though, even if it has potential to be kind of unfortunate? I mean if you have a bad dream or something and you end up named after that.
no subject
well... My name's Rakka, which originally meant "falling" because, in my dream. I was falling through the air?
[...Does that answer your question, Ginti?]
