003. Audio
Two questions.
[Well, it looks like someone's back on the network now that all the general insanity is...mostly over; audio-only again, because apparently that's just how he's going to do things.]
One: is there some way to get levels on your Pokémon without making them fight? I've got one who's decided he's a lover, not a fighter, which is cute and all but he needs the levels and I'm not going to see if the stupid trees will let me wish levels onto him.
[He pauses for a moment once that's out there, though.]
The other thing is that I misplaced a couple people. Somehow. They were here this weekend; I can't find them as of yesterday.
One's fine on her own. The other's someone who shouldn't be wandering around by herself.
[God, no one explained fourth wall to him.]

Maybe it's possible to show 'em battling is fun, or something like that.

[Why is that a thing.]
I can think of a couple solutions, but they both seem like a pain in the ass. You might be able to switch it out for one that likes fighting at the start of a battle, but that wastes a turn and I don't even know if you can make something level up that way. The other way is figuring out why it hates fighting in the first place, but that might take even longer.

Normally I wouldn't care so much about that last one being such a pain, but these things are both better and worse than most people from what I've seen - usually what they do makes sense, which is better, but when it doesn't it's not like they can tell you why they're doing anything.
So it's all trial and error by necessity. And that's annoying. I'll do it if I have to, I was just wondering if there's a third option.

[Pun entirely unintended on his part.]
They don't seem to sell them in shops, not that I've seen anyway.

[...Ginti, no.]

Something like that. If you had enough, I bet you could make a Pokemon evolve without ever needing to train them.

And you know about these things...how?

At least it means people are capable of helping each other out. Not a bad trade-off.

[He shrugs, though.]
If I've got questions, I ask. It's done pretty well so far, I've found some useful people. So I'm not gonna complain about it.

I don't see the point in not asking, peresonally.

This place likes to get to you. Can't really tell you why, just that weird things happen all the time.

I'll take not being fazed by brightly colored animals anymore.
[...of course, Greed is completely unfazed by violence, but details.]
