[They don't do New Years celebrations back home. They didn't do Christmas either, but that was super fun, so Nowi's totally pumped for this. She's dressed sanely tonight, in a puffy pink coat and surprisingly normal jeans, though the boots she has on are bright green, so there's really only so much you can hope for with this girl. She's got one of those obnoxiously bright scarves on as well, and she's carrying Mana in her arms.]

C'mon, c'mon! Ginti we're gonna miss it if we don't hurry up!

[...They're definitely not going to miss anything, it's way earlier than Nowi seems to think it is.]

Ginti's dressed largely like he usually is, with an outfit that looks more like a uniform than anything; he's got a long white coat on over it because dammit, it's cold, but in general it's not like he's dressing up for this at all. Partially because he's never really been bothered with much regarding appearance, partially because...well, outside of the whole arbiter thing creativity's never been his strong suit and he should probably work on that one day when his giveadamn isn't busted.

But for now he cares less about whether he's presentable and more about whether he's sufficiently warm, and if he manages to hit both then it's going to be a goddamn miracle for the new year.]

We're probably not going to miss anything, the point is that most of this stuff happens late at night.

[Nowi pulls a face at Ginti's words, but she approaches and grabs his sleeve to tug on it anyway.]

[She'll set Mana down once she's found a tree that suits her. It's easy enough for her to climb up it, even though she's not in her usual tree-climbing gear. Thankfully she doesn't wear heels!!]

[Well, at least he'll allow himself to be dragged over to the tree, and he means what he says in that he doesn't stop her from climbing up; he just sort of watches her for a moment before her words get something of a sigh out of him - admittedly, one that's not as exasperated as it could have been.]
